Learning outcomes

Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

Safely isolate, test and prepare electrical circuits before working on split-system equipment
Install and connect split air-conditioning and heat pump components to manufacturer specifications
Use appropriate tools, materials and fixings to mount indoor/outdoor units and associated pipework pathways
Identify common faults and complete basic testing and commissioning checks
Apply WHS, risk control, and compliance requirements for residential/light commercial installations
