FAQ

Questions Students Ask Most

Clear answers about training, assessment, and certification.

No. All Skills College is not an RTO. We deliver training and conduct assessment under formal third-party agreements with partner RTOs. Qualifications and Statements of Attainment are issued by the partner RTO.
Your qualification/Statement of Attainment is issued by the partner RTO, in accordance with their scope of registration. You’ll be advised at enrolment which RTO is responsible for certification and oversight.
Delivery depends on the qualification and unit requirements. Training may be face-to-face for practical components, or blended (virtual theory + face-to-face practical). You should also expect learning activity outside scheduled class time to support revision, preparation, and assessment readiness.
Where appropriate, training is delivered in purpose-built labs designed to simulate workplace environments. Students complete structured practical activities and assessments using industry-relevant equipment, guided by training package rules and partner RTO requirements.
Evidence requirements depend on the unit/course, but assessment decisions must be based on valid, sufficient, current, and authentic evidence. We explain what’s acceptable upfront and help you map evidence to unit requirements.
Submission methods vary by course and partner RTO systems. Common options include online portals/LMS (e.g., Canvas), uploaded or emailed files, photo/video evidence for practical tasks, and workplace third-party reports where required.
You’ll receive feedback explaining what’s missing or unclear. You may be asked to provide additional evidence or re-submit. Support is provided to help you meet requirements, but outcomes must align with unit standards.
Timeframes depend on the volume/complexity of evidence and assessor availability. We aim for reasonable turnaround times and will communicate expectations clearly (and explain any delays if extra review is needed).
Most support requests relate to understanding assessment requirements, evidence expectations, deadlines/submissions, accessing learning materials, and getting clarification on instructions. Support focuses on helping you understand what’s required, not completing work on your behalf.
We’ll make reasonable follow-ups to check progress and discuss support options. Where appropriate and permitted, timelines may be adjusted. Deferrals/withdrawals are managed in line with documented processes and partner RTO requirements.
No. We don’t guarantee outcomes. Competency must be demonstrated against unit requirements, and any qualification outcomes depend on evidence and assessment decisions.
Concerns are handled through documented complaints and appeals processes aligned with partner RTO requirements. We review issues objectively, provide clear explanations (including assessment decisions where applicable), and escalate to the partner RTO when required.
